"To Believe Or Not To Believe" Is The Queston (are we any different today than the Isrialites were over 3000 years ago?)

Let's see how much pop culture that you know. A quick question. I think everyone here has heard or seen the program called The Price Is Right with Drew Carey. Does anybody know who was before Drew Carey? Drew Carey began in 2007, who was before Drew Carey? Bob Barker. You remember Bob Barker, the one who was before him. Now, this is for you oldies. What show did Bob Barker host before he hosted The Price Is Right, anybody know? Truth or Consequences. There you go. Truth or Consequences. Only the over-90-year-old people know that particular reference. Truth or Consequences, that program was funnier than the present one. It asked contestants certain questions, and if they didn't know the answers, or the truth, they would have to suffer the consequences. And the consequences usually had something to do with getting a pie in the face, or some other silly thing that would happen. We Are Only Sheep

  Faithfulness in trials means continuing to trust God, obey Christ, and hold on to hope even when life hurts.   For many believers at 1st Christian Church, suffering is not a sign that God has disappeared, it is a moment that tests what we truly believe about His character. Trials can include grief, illness, broken relationships, financial stress, anxiety, persecution, disappointment, and seasons of spiritual dryness. In each case, Christians find strength in God not by pretending pain is small, but by bringing pain into God’s presence, leaning on His promises, and taking faithful steps that keep the heart anchored. When life hurts, the first need is a steady foundation.  Scripture consistently presents God as near to the brokenhearted, faithful to His covenant, and powerful to sustain His people.
